Podcast Guest Terms

These terms cover applying to be a guest on the KimoKawaii Podcast and appearing on the show. They are short and plain on purpose. If anything here does not match what you were told, email us and we will sort it out.

Applying

Anyone can apply. We read every application, but we get a lot of them, so applying does not mean you are booked.

If we pick you, we email you a date and time. Once you confirm, we email you your booking with the details. If we do not pick you this time, please do not take it personally. We may reach out to you later, and you are welcome to apply again.

The Gacha Talent Pull

Signing up for the Gacha Talent Pull does not guarantee you will perform. Performers are picked at random on filming day. Everyone who signed up and checked in at the Gacha Talent Pull booth has their name put in a gacha capsule, the capsules are mixed together, and a gacha machine picks who performs. You can sign up online ahead of time or at the booth on the day. Each person goes in once. Only sign up online if you can be there in person, because you have to check in at the booth to be in the pull. If you are not picked, you are welcome to sign up again for the next filming.

Your appearance

By applying, signing up, and appearing, you give KimoKawaii and Silverback Events LLC permission to record you, edit the recording, and publish it on the podcast, on kimokawaii.net, and on our social media. You also give us permission to use your name, photo, voice, and clips from your appearance to promote the show and our events.

We decide what is edited, and we may choose not to air an appearance.

What you bring

You are responsible for anything you perform, play, or show on set, including music, artwork, and video. Only bring what you have the right to share. If somebody says you did not have that right and comes after us over it, you cover the costs of sorting that out.

On set

Our Code of Conduct applies on set, the same as at our shows. We may end an appearance that breaks it.

Your information

We use what you send us to review your application and to contact you about the show. Our Privacy Policy covers how it is kept.

The ordinary bits

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute is dealt with in the courts of Montgomery County, Texas.
